Eszterlánc performed dances from Mezőség at the Sonoma-Tokaj Sister Cities Fundraiser. The event was held at the Burlingame Hall in Somoma on the 10th of March, 2018.
The performance was followed by a dance teaching session led by Péter and Szonja, which was very popular among the audience. They taught somogyi ugrós (jumping dance from Somogy).
It is always nice to recall previous Eszterlánc events. This is a performance we remember fondly! The occasion was the commemoration of 1848 Hungarian Revolution. The group danced Szilágysági dances in the Woodside Priory in 2015.

Eszterlánc performed dances from Mezőség at the 45th Hungarian Scout Ball of the San Francisco Bay Area. The event was held at the Green Hills Country Club in Milbrae on the 3rd of February, 2018.
The performance was a huge success.
A huge Thank You to those who attended, and to those who could not come but supported the Eszterlánc 40th Anniversary Gala on 11 November 2017, where we presented a collage of our past, present and future.
The Gala had Eva Kish, the founder of Eszterlánc as Guest of Honor. As part of the show, alumni and current members of Eszterlánc, as well the Mazsola children danced together, demonstrating the continuity of Hungarian folk traditions.
