Kodály Foundation for Music Education and East Bay Hungarian Educational Group

Eszterlánc had a busy weekend with two performances.
We thank the Kodály Foundation for Music Education at The Kodály Center at Holy Names University for inviting us to their second birthday! We enjoyed dancing Mezőségi and Szatmári, followed by a Teaching Circle.
On Sunday we participated at an event organized by the East Bay Hungarian Educational Group – Walnut Creek Magyar Iskola. We showcased a Mezőségi dance, and had a Teaching Circle.

March 15 Celebrations

🇺🇸 Yesterday, on March 19th the Bay Area Hungarian community gathered to celebrate our National Day, remembering our heroes from the 1848 revolution. Eszterlánc danced Szatmári verbunk, slow and fast csárdás.

Cultural Gala in Sacramento – Part 2

On February 4th, 2023 Eszterlánc performed at the Sacramento Cultural Gala organized by the Hungarian Association of the Sacramento Area. Aside of dances performed by Eszterlánc, poems were recited by Pataki Ildikó Mónika, Beáta Váncza and László Velinszky. Crossroads Band San Francisco performed Hungarian pop-rock classics.

This is the second part of the show. If you like what you see, and want to give it a try, we are having our weekly practices at CYDance Works in San Mateo from 7:30PM on Fridays.

See you there!
